The Concussion Awareness Program was created in July 2018. The main focus of the CAP team is spreading awareness about concussion injuries, recognizing the signs and symptoms of concussion, what to do if you or someone you know gets a concussion, as well as the most current return-to-learn and return-to-active living protocols. In addition to spreading awareness, the CAP focuses on completing research examining the effect of exercise in acute and persistent symptom concussed individuals, as well as improving current return-to-work/play protocols. The CAP team is made up of researchers at the Health Centred Research Clinic located at the University of Prince Edward Island, in Charlottetown, PE. In the above tabs you can find information about the CAP, the CAP team, current projects, as well as resources that may be useful to you or someone you know if they have experienced a concussion.
